Britain’s biggest professional cycling event will be passing through Welton on Sat 7th September, as part of the penultimate stage of the Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain Men.
The fifth stage of the tournament will start from the University of Northampton and finish at the Guildhall on Northampton’s Derngate after 147 kilometres (91 miles) of racing.
The cyclists will be arriving via the A361 onto Ashby Road and departing the village on Station Road (towards Watford) – expected time of arrival in Welton is 1300 – 1330.
