The aims of the Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) are:
- Reduce / prevent local crime and disorder
- Reduce fear of crime
- Address issues relating to antisocial behaviour
- Create safer neighbourhoods
- Build community spirit and cohesion
- Reassure members of the public
- Enhance partnership working with other community groups
- Assist in the detection and apprehension of criminals through members providing information to the police
- Improve quality of life and the local environment
The current list of NHW coordinators is below. There are still, however, a number of vacancies, including that of the village coordinator. If you would like to be a volunteer for your street, please contact the parish clerk at weltonparishclerk@gmail.com.
