A new 1-year project was launched in April 2023 to engage with people from Central and Eastern European countries.
Together we want to develop a better understanding of:
- How the community wants to engage with us about health and wellbeing.
- The community and their assets and need (both health, and generally).
- What barriers and opportunities there are to accessing health and social care services.
The knowledge and information can be used to improve access to services and outcomes including access to health screening and vaccination and to support future service design across West Northamptonshire.
The research project is a collaboration between, West Northamptonshire Public Health, West Northamptonshire Well Northants project and The University of Northampton who will develop a research framework that can be used to build an understanding of the health needs, and inequalities experienced by communities.
